Cosmic Communion Breathwork Facilitator Training
10 hour Beginner’s Cohort
March 14th & 15th
•
A foundational weekend for those called to guide breathwork with presence, safety, and soul
Cosmic Communion: Breathwork Facilitator Foundations is a beginner-friendly weekend immersion for those who feel called to work with breath — whether as a facilitator, yoga teacher, healer, or guide.
• •
This training emphasizes breath as a relational, embodied practice rather than a performance or peak experience. Rather than learning dozens of techniques, we focus on foundational breath practices taught with nervous-system awareness, ethical facilitation, and deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence.
This is an initiation into holding breath spaces with clarity, care, and integrity.

Why “Cosmic Communion”
Cosmic Communion speaks to the deeper truth of breathwork — that breath is a meeting point between body, psyche, and something greater than us.
Breath becomes a bridge — between inner and outer, self and other, activation and rest.
-
Over two immersive days, you’ll learn:
Foundations of breathwork facilitation
Nervous system basics and safety considerations
Contraindications, consent, and ethical scope of practice
How to guide and pace group breath experiences
How to work with music as a co-facilitator
How to build playlist arcs that support activation and integration
How to read the room and respond to the body
-
Cosmic Communion: Breathwork Facilitator Foundations focuses on three core approaches:
• 3-Part Breath
An active, rhythmic breath practice that supports emotional release, vitality, and clarity. You’ll learn how to guide this breath with confidence and skill in group settings.• Somatic Sun Breath
A gentle, somatic, trauma-aware breath practice emphasizing internal sensing, pacing, and nervous system regulation. Inspired by depth-oriented breathwork traditions, this approach offers profound access without overwhelm.• Foundational Pranayama & Regulation Practices
Simple, grounding breath techniques to support integration, presence, and balance — essential tools for facilitators and participants alike.Music as a Core Teaching
Music is woven throughout Cosmic Communion as an essential element of facilitation.
You’ll learn how to:
Design playlists that follow the natural arc of a breath journey
Match sound to breath style and nervous system state
Use rhythm, emotion, and silence skillfully
Avoid overstimulation and unnecessary intensity
Music is treated not as background, but as a conscious partner in the breathwork process.
-
This training is ideal for:
Yoga teachers
Healers and bodyworkers
Coaches and facilitators
Those newly called to work with breath
No prior breathwork facilitation experience is required.
-
Two days of virtual training (March 14–15)

Kimber Tiernan
Founder of NANDI
Kimber Tiernan is a breathwork teacher and facilitator who weaves breath as a foundational bridge through all of her spiritual and healing work. With a background in pranayama and extensive study in modern breathwork practices, she brings both lineage and lived experience to the way she teaches and holds space.
Kimber has a deep understanding of the physiological and nervous system dynamics of breath, and is known for creating containers that feel grounded, safe, and deeply attuned.
Her approach emphasizes regulation, presence, and trust - allowing the body to open at its own pace.
She often says, "If I were stranded on a desert island and could only choose one modality, it would be breathwork. It teaches you how to regulate your nervous system, move energy and trauma through the body, and quiet the thinking mind so you can drop into deep meditative and transcendent states. It's one of the most beautiful gateways to healing I know."
Founder of SPAGHETTI moves
Daphne Zahara Driscoll
Daphne completed her Breathwork certification through Op e n, though her first experiences with breath as a transformational practice came through Kimber’s sessions and classes. Those early encounters shaped her understanding of breathwork as a deeply somatic process, one that moves beyond the intellect and into the wisdom of the body.
Now teaching regular breathwork classes at Op e n, Daphne has witnessed again and again that true transformation happens through the body, not by bypassing it. Her facilitation invites participants to soften out of the mind and into sensation, presence, and feeling to allow the breath to cut straight to the heart of things.
With a background in movement, embodiment, and nervous system awareness, Daphne creates grounded, intuitive spaces where people can safely meet themselves, release stored emotion, and reconnect to their innate aliveness.
Cosmic Communion is about learning to listen — to breath, to body, and to the quiet intelligence that unfolds when space is held with care.
If you feel called to guide breathwork with integrity, safety, and depth, this weekend offers a grounded place to begin.
Continuing the Path
Cosmic Communion is designed as a pathway.
Those who complete Cosmic Communion: Breathwork Facilitator Foundations will be invited to continue into Cosmic Communion: Advanced Breathwork Facilitation, offered in the summer.
The advanced training is intended for facilitators who wish to deepen their capacity to hold more complex breathwork experiences — including longer journeys, stronger emotional release, advanced use of music, and refined nervous system tracking.
Details will be shared first with Foundations participants.
(Participation in the advanced training requires completion of the Foundations weekend.)
